Charles Allen Kemp received his BA degree at the University of Pretoria with Psychology and Criminology as his main subjects in 2008. In 2009 he attended the American International Institute of Polygraph (AIIP) (SA); an American Polygraph Association accredited polygraph training institution, where he completed his training as a polygraph examiner under the instruction of Mr Charles E. Slupski and Ms Estelle Dreyer. Subsequently he completed an internship at the Polygraph Institute of South Africa. He started working at the Polygraph Institute of South Africa in September 2009 and has administered polygraph examinations in six different countries.
Johan Stiglingh completed his polygraph training with the Israel Polygraph Institute in 1990. He spent seventeen years in the National Intelligence Service, where he was primarily involved in Counter- Intelligence. He has extensive experience in personnel screenings and investigations, and was in charge of the polygraph unit of the National Intelligence Service for two years. Johan joined PISA in 1996.
Alta Rossouw was trained by The Israel Polygraph Institute in 1990.She obtained a BA (HED) at the University of the Orange Free State before she joined the National Intelligence Service. Here she spent the next twenty years, gaining experience in investigations, intelligence and polygraphy. Alta also completed a course in Chart Interpretation and Numerical scoring with the Academy for Scientific and Investigative Training from the USA (2000). Alta joined PISA in 1997.
Joanette Karsten was trained by the Academy for Scientific and Investigative Training from the USA in 2011 by Nathan J Gordon. Joanette also completed a course in Chart Interpretation and Numerical scoring with the Academy for Scientific and Investigative Training from the USA. Joanette joined PISA in 2012.
Chris Karsten was trained by the Academy for Scientific and Investigative Training from the USA in 2013 by Nathan J Gordon and Essam Ali Gamal El Din. Chris also completed a course in Chart Interpretation and Numerical scoring with the Academy for Scientific and Investigative Training from the USA. Chris joined PISA in December 2013.
Hendrik van Rooyen completed his polygraph training with the Israel Polygraph Institute in 1985. He obtained a B Admin degree at the University of South Africa. Hendrik was an officer in the South African Defence Force from 1972 to 1974, after which he joined the National Intelligence Service. He assisted with the establishment of polygraphy in the National Intelligence Service, as well as in other government agencies. Hendrik gained extensive experience in all the disciplines of Counter-Intelligence, specialising in personnel security. He is a founder member of PISA. To date Hendrik van Rooyen provides consultation and advice for the PISA Integrity Assessment Centre.
